With over 30 years of experience, Sanjeev Kapuria, MD, is a leading anesthesiologist and pain management specialist practicing at Advanced Pain Management in Evans, Georgia. He’s committed to helping patients lead pain-free lives, and he offers personalized pain management programs that combine treatments to optimize results.
Dr. Kapuria earned his medical degree at the University College of Medical Sciences at the University of Delhi in India. He came to the United States to complete his residency in internal medicine and anesthesiology at the State University of New York (SUNY) Stony Brook Health Science Center and University Hospital. Dr. Kapuria went on to become a research fellow and instructor in the university’s comprehensive pain center.
Dr. Kapuria is a member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the Georgia Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Georgia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
In addition to medical interventional pain management techniques, Dr. Kapuria also promotes non-pharmacological interventions. These interventions include techniques such as deep diaphragmatic breathing. He holds popular teaching sessions and aims to help patients lead healthier, stress-free lives.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Kapuria enjoys spending time with his wife of over 19 years and their two children. He stays active by swimming, jogging, and playing tennis.
